Outside The Box Labs is a science education company that provides many educational services including 1 hour after school programs for elementary aged students. Instructors do not need to have any formal education training. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for part-time flexible work or those looking for their start in education.
We are currently hiring Casual Lead & ASSISTANT Camp Counselors for OUR 2026 Summer Camps.

Looking to get more experience working with kids and taking on leadership roles? Consider starting out as an assistant counselor this year and work your way up to a Lead Camp Counselor role you can come back to any season you are looking for extra work.
Perfect for teachers and college students that are off in the summer months and looking to make some extra income wITH a flexible schedule
All camps are in Allegheny County, PA and most outside the majority of the day if not the whole day! Each camp week runs from M-F, 9am-3pm with instructors arriving approximately 30 minutes prior to camp start time and staying about 30 minutes after for clean up.
All of our camps are science based with offerings of both survival science and science based art camps.
Counselors MUST have their criminal background, child abuse clearance, and FBI background clearances up to date and available at the start of training and a reliable vehicle for pickup and drop off of camp supplies along with daily commute.

QUALIFICATIONS: * Has or is able to get required clearances to work with children * Willing to travel and has a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (all jobs are within Allegheny County) * Is punctual, reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn Has (or is able to easily develop) excellent behavioral management skills REQUIRMENTS: -Bachelor Degree in education or the natural sciences preferred. -Must have all required clearances in hand at the start of fall semester 2027.
