The Outside The Box Labs Science Based ECO ART Camp IS a DISCOVERY CAMP
CAMPERS GET OUTDOORS AND ACTIVELY APPLY SCIENCE TO CREATE THEIR OWN MEDIA & ART FROM THE NATURAL SOURCES AROUND THEM! CAMPERS WILL LEARN THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE CREATION OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF ART MEDIA and will FORAGE FOR THEIR OWN NATURAL MATERIALS TO MAKE THEIR OWN DYES, DRAWING MEDIA such as charcoal pencils, AND NATURAL ART.
Get ready to get your hands dirty and your minds working as we combine NATURE, SCIENCE, and ART for this CREATIVITY packed camp!
Campers will EXPERIMENT with various techniques to create their own TIE-DYED BANDANAS, RECYCLED PAPER, decorative STEPPING STONES, natural temporary TATTOOS(Henna), CHARCOAL PENCILS using fire, candle making with BEES WAX, cyanotype with leaves and found objects, and more!

Use the ancient art of Henna to create your very own tattoos!
Get Sustainable: Learn about using items from nature to create art and leave no trace. Campers will experiment Using sustainable and recyclable materials to create Media and art such as their own recycled paper and other objects that create less of an impact on the earth!
