We’ve partnered with Allegheny County Parks again this summer to offer our “MAKE ART WITH SCIENCE: A Natural Art Camp!” in North Park. North Park Camps will run for 2 weeks in July and each camp will be Monday-Friday 9am-3pm.

Get ready to get your hands dirty and your minds working as we combine NATURE, SCIENCE, and ART for this CREATIVITY packed camp!


THE OUTSIDE THE BOX LABS SCIENCE BASED ART CAMP IS A DISCOVERY CAMP

CAMPERS GET OUTDOORS AND ACTIVELY APPLY SCIENCE TO CREATE THEIR OWN MEDIA & ART FROM THE NATURAL SOURCES AROUND THEM! CAMPERS WILL LEARN THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE CREATION OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF ART MEDIA AND WILL GET A CHANCE TO FORAGE FOR THEIR OWN NATURAL MATERIALS TO MAKE THEIR OWN DYES, DRAWING MEDIA, AND NATURAL ART.

CAMPERS WILL EXPERIMENT WITH VARIOUS TECHNIQUES TO CREATE THEIR OWN TIE-DYED T-SHIRTS, RECYCLED PAPER, CONCRETE MOLDS, NATURAL TEMPORARY TATTOOS(HENNA), CHARCOAL PENCILS USING FIRE, AND MUCH MORE!

The Outside The Box Labs “MAKE ART WITH SCIENCE: A Natural Art CAMP!” is a day camp that runs in North Park from Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm.

Drop off and Pick up is at the OLYMPIA PAVILLION @ NORTH PARK, PA (PEARCE MILL ROAD *ACROSS FROM THE SKATING RINK) See Map

PRICE: $335/camper

IMPORTANT CAMP PREP INFO FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS:

1.) Drop off is promptly at 9am and pickup is promptly at 3pm each day.

2.) Campers will have access to the indoor skate rink in event of rain but as camps will go rain or shine and can get wet and muddy, campers should be sent with a set of clean clothes in a bag each day of camp.

3.) A brown bag lunch and additional small snack (granola bar, fruit, etc) should be sent with your child each day of camp.

4.) About a week prior to camp camper families will receive an email containing a detailed list of what to bring as well as what not to bring to be prepared for your week at camp!

Program TERMS and CONDITIONS

Camp Registration is on a strictly first come first serve basis and can not be reserved before registration opens. When spots run out you may be added to our waitlist if desired by contacting us through our contact page.

Due to procurement of supplies, and because hiring and training of our instructors is based specifically on enrollment, we do not provide refunds for camp registrations past 16 weeks prior to your scheduled session start date.
